dark dark dark – tell me (live)

Both of my moves to Norwich, though three years apart, have been closely followed by Dark Dark Dark binges. I’m pleased to say that my current music rut is much less wallowing and self-pitying than its cousin of Winter 2009. With the release of 2012’s ‘Who Needs Who,’ Nona Marie Invie and co. introduce a simpler sound. The band has decreased in size from seven to five. The lyrics, always personal, seem even more intimate. This is in no small part because the album documents the break-up of Nona’s relationship with band mate Marshall LaCount.
