Cuckoo

These days swing manically between giddy inspiration and dark pits of creative despair. At the moment I’m simultaneously writing three essays, all due mid-January. If the task of picking a question wasn’t difficult enough (I want to write about EVERYTHING! How can I choose?), an anonymous undergraduate whose interests mysteriously mirror my own has checked out most of the books I need for one essay. The thesis of the other project fell to pieces as soon as I began to research. I won’t go into too much detail yet, as the topics may change radically before the January 14th deadline, but when I’ve formulated and finalized my topics I’ll be sure to quench your ravening thirst!

I locked myself in this carrel all day long.

This is what my penmanship looks like now that I am left-handed.

This Still Corners song is my touchstone this week. I will give credit where credit is due and admit, “Cuckoo” is keeping me sane.
